As the first point of contact for our supporters visiting the Income Generation Office, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm and professional welcome. Based in the Stables at the main Hospice site, you’ll greet visitors, handle telephone enquiries, and support the fundraising and retail teams with a range of administrative and reception duties.
This is a varied and rewarding role that helps ensure our fundraising and retail operations run smoothly while providing a friendly face for our valued supporters. Every smile, phone call, and donation you help with makes a real difference to the care we provide at St Leonard’s Hospice.
When am I needed?
We are looking for cover Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 4.00pm.
Morning shifts are typically 9.00am – 12.30pm and afternoon shifts are 12.30pm-4.00pm with a fortnightly commitment however there might be some flexibility with timings.

Support and Supervision
The St Leonard’s Hospice Income Generation Team will provide you with full training and liaise closely with you over all aspects of your role and supervise you.
The Volunteer Services Team will help guide you through the application and induction process and be your point of contact for general enquiries about volunteering.
Training
Volunteers are required to complete mandatory training modules which are usually delivered via our online platform. Additional, booster and refresher training may be delivered as needed via e-learning, video links or face to face. You may also be invited to attend role specific in person meetings where appropriate.
