Corporate Volunteer Opportunities

Corporate volunteering at St Leonard’s Hospice is a great way to get involved in the local community. Many companies offer Corporate Volunteering days, where employees can take paid time off to volunteer. This is not only helpful to the Hospice; volunteering has also proved to be beneficial to those volunteering, and employers who support Corporate Volunteering. It’s great for employee engagement, wellbeing, skills, retention, and teamwork. It can also be great fun!

There are lots of volunteering opportunities at St Leonard’s Hospice. We welcome both individuals and small groups of corporate volunteers who would like to offer their time to support us. We are able to offer half days or full days depending on the area you would like to volunteer in.

Where can I volunteer and what will I be doing?

Some of the areas you could volunteer in are:

About the Hospice

St Leonard’s Hospice provides care and support to local people living with life-limiting illnesses and to the people they care about. We couldn’t carry out the important work we do without a committed and talented team of Volunteers and Supporters – people of all ages, and from all walks of life who help us provide care and assistance throughout the organisation as well as promoting the work of the hospice in local communities and raising crucial funds. This can be through the sale of pre-loved goods in our shops, or by helping out or taking part in one of our numerous Fundraising events.
